Ivan Perisic’s departure from Tottenham has been confirmed by manager Ange Postecoglou.
The Croatian winger is rehabilitating from a complicated ACL injury. He can also play as a wing back. In an interview, Postecoglou acknowledged that we might have seen the last of Perisic at the North London club because he is 34 years old and his contract expires in the summer.
“Oh no, he’s trying very hard to treat Ivan fairly. He clearly wants to return as soon as possible to his duties with the national team.
“He’s been a huge loss for us, once more.
“I had anticipated that, given his expertise, he would be a huge asset this season, and we saw that in the opening few games due to his impact on the game. However, he won’t likely play for us again.
