After Timo Werner joined on loan, Radu Dragusin, a 21-year-old Romanian international, joined Tottenham for £26.7 million.
Both players may make their debuts on Sunday against Manchester United. Dragusin picked Spurs over Bayern Munich.
The Transfer Show panel talks about Radu Dragusin’s move from Genoa to Tottenham Hotspur, the defender. Tottenham defeated the German champions’ late challenge to finalize an agreement in which they will pay Genoa an initial £21.5 million (€25 million) plus an additional £5.2 million (€6 million).
Dragusin, who signed a contract with Tottenham that will last until 2030, was reportedly of interest to Napoli. “I’m just thrilled right now.
I’m so delighted to be here. For me, it’s a significant step, but I think it’s the right one.
” He informed Spurs officials after signing a contract.
“I can say that my heart was involved in the decision. I spoke with the coach a few times, and I felt like we clicked well.
“He told me how much he wanted me to join the squad because he feels I play well and would be a nice addition.
His style of high-line, aggressive play with lots of pace at the back to defend is something I enjoy.
“Coming to play football for a squad like this is a dream come true.”
