The following injury updates for defenseman Pavel Mintyukov and forward Trevor Zegras have been released by the Ducks: Zegras’ left ankle broke during the first period of Tuesday’s game versus Nashville.
He is scheduled to have surgery soon, and he will be away for about six to eight weeks. This season, the 22-year-old Zegras has made 20 appearances and scored 4-3=7 points.
Tuesday marked his 200th NHL appearance, coming two nights after he scored twice at Honda Center in a 3-2 loss to Detroit.
Mintyukov sustained a separated shoulder on Tuesday as well, and he will be out for about six weeks.
