Kenny Pickett Wants To End A Bad QB Trajectory

The pittsburgh steelers had high hopes for kenny pickett as their new starting quarterback after picking him in the first round in the 2022 nfl draft.

Pickett’s first two seasons with the steelers have been a little underwhelming, and his future as a starter for the steelers seems to be uncertain.

Analyst warren sharp posted a statistic on twitter on sunday that puts pickett in some sloppy company to help people understand how poorly he has performed in his two years with pittsburgh.

Brandon weeden, blaine gabbert, ej manuel, and josh rosen are some of the worst quarterbacks to be drafted in the first round of the nfl.

The steelers’ failure to produce a similar result to these four signal-callers in his first two seasons in the league is disappointing.

Despite the struggles of the young pittsburgh quarterback during his time with the steelers, the steelers still have a degree of optimism about his future with the franchise, especially after the steelers hired arthur smith to be their new offensive coordinator earlier this year.

Smith didn’t have much success as atlanta falcons head coach for the past three seasons, but he helped ryan tannehill turn his career around in 2019 and 2020 with the tennessee titans.

If pittsburgh continues to roll with pickett as their starting quarterback for the 2024 season, the team will be hoping he can do something similar for him.
