The truth behind Goncalo Inacio’s transfer to Liverpool surfaces following the Reds’ “£26 million bid.”

This month, Liverpool is rumored to have made an initial proposal of £26 million for Sporting center back Goncalo Inacio. Despite reports to the contrary, Liverpool is not in “concrete” talks to sign Sporting’s Goncalo Inacio.

According to reports from Portugal, Liverpool offered the center back somewhere about £26 million. One of Europe’s top young center defenders, Inacio, 22, has been a constant for Liga Portugal leaders Sporting this year.

Additionally, during the summer, he was connected to Liverpool as they looked to add a new left-sided center-half.Although Levi Colwill signed a new contract at Stamford Bridge, the Reds attempted to acquire him from Chelsea.

And Liverpool decided not to pursue a different course of action in spite of connections to Inacio, Micky van de Ven, who is currently at Tottenham, and Marc Guehi of Crystal Palace, to name a few.

It has recently been suggested that Inacio could be signed during the January transfer window. According to Jorge das Transferencias, a £26 million offer has been made for the Portugal international, whose contract contains an almost £52 million release clause.

At the Jose Alvalade Stadium, Sporting Academy product Inacio just extended his contract until 2027 in August, saying, “I am very happy to stay here.

” Furthermore, Fabrizio Romano has now acknowledged that reports that Liverpool has made a formal approach to Sporting are exaggerated.
