This summer, an “exceptional” Liverpool star “wants to leave” Anfield and join a new team.

Liverpool must take into consideration players who may depart the club even as they are strengthening their squad this month and in the summer.

Three players are nearing the end of their contract, which is six months away.

At the end of the current season, Anfield will be losing outcast goalkeeper Adrián, as well as injured players Thiago and Joël Matip, unless new contracts are reached.

Caoimhín Kelleher is one of the men who is supposedly looking to relocate somewhere,

but there might be other people on the departure list as well.

The Ireland international has been supporting Alisson, but he wants to play more frequently.

Football Insider claims that the international is “ready to leave” Liverpool when the summer transfer window opens.

According to the report, the 25-year-old wants to move up to become the first choice by pursuing a post that comes with a guarantee at a new team.

Naturally, Liverpool is unable to provide Kelleher with this, as Alisson continues to be the clear-cut starter in goal.

Although Jurgen Klopp is hesitant to let the Irishman go this window, Celtic has recently expressed interest in him.

As the Reds aim to make the final, Klopp is a huge fan of Kelleher, who has shown himself this season by starting every Carabao Cup game

and making appearances in both the Premier League and Europa League.

Kelleher gave a tremendous performance in the penalty shootout against Derby County during their Cup championship defense the previous season, and Klopp was full of praise for his valor.

We never put him on the defensive or tell him he can’t play, Caoimhin. “He’s outstanding, truly outstanding,” the manager exclaimed.

The goalkeeper coaches are doing an incredible job. He’s their product, and I’m sure they would say exactly the same.

What they do with him, they develop a modern goalkeeping.

As calm as you like, can play football and on top of that can catch balls and keep the ball out of the net in a really good manner. That’s really good.

There are still a lot of goalkeeping years to come for him. If he can keep that record, it will be exceptional.

It will be insane numbers. He did really well.”
